Turning on Email Notifications

There are five types of email notifications that students can receive and four that instructors can receive.


Notifications You Can Control:

  • Student Comment Notifications - These notifications are sent when a student comments on an assignment. If you are a student, you may receive these notifications if a peer comments on one of your assignments.

  • Graded Assignments Notifications - These notifications are sent when an assignment status changes. For example when an instructor grades an assignment.

  • Instructor Comment Notifications - These notifications are sent when an instructor comments on an assignment. If you are an instructor, you may receive these notifications if a team-instructor comments on an assignment.


Notifications You Cannot Control:

  • Important Account or App Related Notifications - These notifications cannot be turned off or unsubscribed from.

  • Speech Practice Notifications - These notifications are sent to student accounts only. They are automated and relate to the Speech Practice assignment. These notifications cannot be turned off or unsubscribed from.

 

Changing Email Notification Preferences:

  1. Click your profile icon in the top right corner.

  2. Click Settings.

  3. Check the type of notifications you'd like to receive.

  4. Click "Save."
